Free Film Talk ‘Our emotional connection to films’

Continuing with the series of free film talks arranged by the team at Bradford UNESCO City of Film, held at Bradford’s City Park library. The 5th Film Talk of the year, will take place on 29th May 2014 between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

We are delighted to announce that our guest speaker this month is Phil Jackson of Take 13, Bradford’s fledgling community film screening group, talks about what it is that makes Take 13 so special, ‘Our emotional connection to films’. With the aid of film clips and the odd anecdote, he will explore and discuss just what it is that gets us so attached to a particular film and demonstrate some of the things that connect us, endear us and help us to escape into the wonderful world of movies.

The talks are free but spaces are very limited so booking is essential. Please contact Sue Rollins sue.rollins@bradford.gov.uk or ring Bradford’s City Library: 01274 433600 to book a place.
