Job Opportunity – Interim Hub Manager, Film Hub North

The Film Hub North is seeking an Interim Hub Manager – an experienced and driven individual who can oversee establishment of the Hub function, office and systems in the FHN region. The work will require a full time commitment for two months from the beginning of January 2014 and will be awarded on a freelance basis. There may be an opportunity to extend the contract.

Film Hub North is part of the BFI’s Film Audience Network (FAN) and covers: all of Yorkshire, Northumberland, County Durham, Tyne and Wear and Cumbria. The Film Hub North will be led by two Yorkshire based organisations: Showroom Workstation in Sheffield and National Media Museum in Bradford. Together we will work with other cinemas, arts venues, film festivals and other organisations to increase the number of films shown in our region. These films will be a more diverse range than is currently available – such as British film, foreign language films, documentaries, animation and other genres of film which are less easy to access in the North.
