Phoenix Dance Theatre is currently looking for dancers aged 18+ to feature in the forthcoming BBC adaptation of Susanna Clarke’s novel Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell.
Successful dancers will work with Phoenix Artistic Director Sharon Watson on a number of choreographed pieces to feature in the seven-part series due to be screened in 2014.
All applicants must have previous dance experience and have the ability to learn and retain movement in a short space of time. Auditions will be held on Friday 29th November.
There will be a total of four half day rehearsals during week commencing 6th Jan 2014, with three film days during week commencing 13th Jan 2014. There is a set wage of £500 for this work.
Audition, rehearsals and filming will take place in Yorkshire.
