The Pitch is a fairly young film competition but offers some really great prizes!!!
The overall winner wins an apprenticeship with The Pitch to produce their own short film. They are backed up with a decent sized budget – £25K for a short film. They also receive production support from film professionals to produce a short film of their pitch.
Part of the prize is a trip to LA to meet top film professionals for feedback and a private screening of their own film.
The top 10 entrants get to pitch at Pinewood Studios, and are also invited on a residential masterclass in November (with screenwriting guru Laurie Hutzler) and even the runners-up get £2.5K to spend on producing a short film…. so its certainly worth applying!
