•The film can be any topic, any genre
•The filmmaker must be aged 5 – 19 years old
•The film must be 3 minutes or under, including credits

This should really get your creative juices flowing. We want you to take the concept ’Round My Corner’ and make a short film about whatever that means to you. This could be about your street, your town or village, your neighbours and friends. What do they mean to you?
•The film must interpret the concept ’Round My Corner’
•The filmmaker must be aged 14 – 19 years old
•The film must be 3 minutes or under, including credits
Entry Criteria – 30 SECOND LOLs
We want you to make your audience Laugh Out Loud. Send us a film that lasts no longer than 30 seconds that you think will do the trick!
•The film must make the audience laugh out loud!
•The filmmaker must be aged 5 – 19 years old
•The film must be 30 seconds or under, including credits
The deadline for submissions is midday on Friday 11 October.
The first National Youth Film Festival for schools, community groups and young people has now been launched. It will take place from 21st October – 8th November. This major education and
film programme is one of many new initiatives to be delivered by FILM NATION UK – a new organisation which will build on the work of leading film education charities FILMCLUB and First Light.
This exciting event offers schools and teachers the opportunity to usefilm to bring learning to life through an innovative mix of education resources, filmmaking support, pupil premieres, national
competitions and awards alongside a massive free screening programme of 100 selected films in cinemas across the UK. Supported by the BFI, Cinema First and the TES, the National Youth
Film Festival aims to inspire young people aged 5-19 to watch, understand and make film in new and creative ways that support their education and personal development whilst building a
lifelong passion for film.
