Whatever your level of interest - from curious novice to professional practitioner - there is a film training course in Bradford for you.


5 colleges provide 48 courses, ranging from introductory courses up to post-graduate and PhD level and professional development.

Alongside the formal education in schools, colleges and at the University, there are plenty of less formal opportunities on offer, so if you fancy trying your hand before you make a bigger commitment, this is the place to do it. The National Media Museum delivers a varied and changing programme targeting everyone from school-age to adults.  Some specifically target those without any previous experience, so if you're fed up being outshone by your talented offspring, check out the Day Schools or evening classes.  Who knows what latent flair you might uncover?

With a comprehensive training portfolio targeting all levels, individual support for those  starting out, work placements, kit loan and projection facilities, Fabric is the first port of call for many on the first rung of the film ladder. Their Bradford Film Network is an invaluable resource, drawing almost 200 members either working in or interested in film across the region.
