You're spoilt for choice on venue alone, with everything from the majesty of a multiplex to the intimacy of an independent film club. With 34 commercial screens in 4 venues, including Europe's only permanent Cinerama and one of the biggest 3D screen in the world, a typical week sees more than a quarter of a million screenings across the city. On top of which we have world-class film festivals including the Bradford International Film Festival.

The National Media Museum's IMAX is a must for fans of the format. Bollywood followers can head for Cineworld and Odeon;at Cineworld Bollywood comprises almost a third of the programme, making it one of the UK's top three homes to the genre.

If you're contemplating a house move and love your film, Bradford could be the place for you; wherever you live in the District, you're never more than 15 minutes' drive from a cinema. By 2020, City of Film looks forward to more people watching more films in more venues, and more visitors to Bradford's film festivals and film's national museum.
