Ilkley Film Festival is back from 17 to 21 February 2016
Founding Festival Director, Martin Pilkington said:
“Having now reached our third festival we’ve screened film to over 11,000 people, a figure I am in disbelief with. Ilkley has a wonderful range of venues for the Festival and the new cinema will make a brilliant small scale addition which is ideal for some of the indie previews we have lined-up and a complete contrast to the grand King’s Hall.
The Ilkley audience is always keen to experiment with lots of different types of films which is why we’ve really tried to bring as many different experiences to the programme as possible. We have more documentaries this year and exclusive previews which are always exciting but, following the amazing reception we’ve had in previous years to live scoring of films, I’m particularly looking forward to presenting The Bays’ accompaniment to Run Lola Run.”
