Filmmaker Needed for Event—urgent!
We are working on a site in Manningham with a view to bringing it back into general public use for all age groups to enjoy for exercise and recreation. We are holding an outdoor consultation event on Saturday May 9th from 12 - 4. We expect to have at least 100 people attending with a variety of ages and have a number of activities as well as the consultation. There will be food, football skills, face painting, mendhi, painting flower pots and planting, hand massage and so on.
We are looking for someone to attend the event, take photos, film elements of the event and edit the film to produce a 4/5 minute DVD. The DVD and photos will be shown on our website and used when making presentations and applying for funding. We are looking for someone with experience of working with young people, preferably CRB checked, who has also worked within Muslim communities and understands and can work around any concerns about photos and filming. We want to give a feeling of Manningham as an exciting and lively place to be with many people of all ages interested in working together to improve the area. There is a limited budget.
